POW Monitor view

Operations Control POW Monitor

Prerequisites

The POW Monitor view displays a POW panel for each point of work (POW) with real-time information. The POW panel displays quay crane (QC) POWs. By default, the POWs are displayed in CHE ID order from left to right. You can change the display order in the Overview POWs drop-down by dragging the POWs in the preferred order.

Overview POWs Filter

Use the Overview POWs filter to select which points of work to include in the view. This filter shows two columns: Excluded and Included. Click on the POW and drag it to the Excluded or Included column, in the order that you want.

POW Panel

At the top of the POW panel are the POW name, current vessel, and current work queue. The POW performance graphic displays current, average and target rates of crane productivity.

Below the performance graphic is a list of the move stages and the number of moves (jobs) at each stage. When any of the work instructions within each move stage has an active alarm, the move stage row background color changes to red, indicating the presence of an alarm. You can drill-down a move stage by double-clicking it to open the Work Instructions view (on page 1). From the Work Instructions view, you can select a WI and open the Work Instruction Inspector (on page 1).

The panel displays these move stages:

The display name for a move stage can be customized. The move stage calculations include all CHE types that could serve a quay crane, including AGVs, auto shuttles, manned shuttles, straddle carriers and terminal tractors.
